Garden update

“Nature never goes out of style.”

Dear garden, thank you for bringing us so much joy!

“The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul.”

What a wonderful life we have!

Small community life

We had the chance to spend little time in a small community settled by a forest somewhere between Bern and Zurich. It was nice to meet people that love living a very simple life in the naked nature. They wash their faces/shower with rain water in an improvised space in the forest  and they always cook and eat together sharing the little that they have. Unfortunately this way of living is almost impossible in the winter time so our friends make sure to enjoy the green nature as much as possible.

Lichterloo – Fire Festival

Lichterloo was inspired by festivals such as Burning Man and it can be described by words like:  sustainability, responsibility, joining in and living together peacefully,  free from profit – values the world needs more than ever.

Wald Kinder (Forest kids)

Der Wald Kinder is definitely one of the big reasons for which I’d love to speak good German already. Such a wonderful bunch of little angels, lead by two amazing carers: Anina and Stefanie.

Monday morning planning

Yes, that’s how all weekly meetings all over the world should look like! 😀

Rowing to Germany

After travelling to Germany by train, by car and by bike, today we got there by boat.

From one shore of Konstanz lake to the other. 30 minutes of rowing under the mild, shiny sun. Back to Switzerland, we celebrated our little achievement by taking the first swim in the lake. Perfect summer+week-end day!
